Hermes (Paris) — L’Arche de Noël
In 2011, Martin’s works will grace the windows of Hermes’ flagship in Paris. The main window features an 8-foot by 15-foot original oil, L’Arche de Noël (Noel’s Ark), while the other windows feature popular images from Martin’s collection
Mona Bismarck Foundation (Paris)
In 2009, Martin was invited to mount a one-man show at the Mona Bismarck Foundation in Paris. The popular exhibit broke attendance records during its four-month run. Read comments from the exhibit.
Philadelphia Flower Show
In 2006, Timothy Martin was invited to mount a show at the world renowned Philadelphia Flower Show. Over 50 of Martin’s furniture paintings captivated the more than 250,000 attendees. Due to the exceedingly positive response in 2006, the Philadelphia Flower Show invited Martin back in 2008. In keeping with the theme, Jazz It Up, Martin exhibited his musical instrument series and worked on the lid of the Springtime Piano for Steinway.
Steinway & Sons
In 2000, Martin was the first painter in nearly 70 years to be commissioned by Steinway & Sons to paint an actual baby grand piano. This one-of-a-kind instrument now resides in a private collection in Austin, Texas.
